Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Tabbller ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our app. By using Tabbller, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Tabbller can be used in two ways, and each collects a different amount:

• As a guest: we create an anonymous account that exists only to hold your progress. It has an internal account identifier and nothing else — no name, no email address, no way to identify you as a person.

• Signed in with Google: in addition to the above, we receive the email address and display name on the Google account you choose. We never see, receive or store your Google password — the sign-in happens entirely inside Google, and all we are given back is a token confirming it succeeded.

• Signed in with Apple: in addition to the anonymous account above, we receive an email address and, on the first sign-in only, the name on your Apple ID. If you choose “Hide My Email”, the address we receive is a forwarding alias ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com and we never see your real one. We never see, receive or store your Apple ID password — the sign-in happens entirely on your device and with Apple, and all we are given back is a token confirming it succeeded.

For either kind of account we store the display name you enter in the app, your quiz history (the questions asked, your answers, scores and dates), your learning progress across the tables, the total time you have spent in the app, and whether you have seen the walkthrough.

If you send feedback, we store the message, the reply address you choose to give, your account identifier and display name, and which platform you sent it from.

Some settings — sound, music and vibration — are kept only on your device and are never sent to us.

Tabbller contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use what we collect only to run the app:

• To keep your account and let you sign back in to it.

• To save your quiz results and learning progress, and to show them back to you.

• To sync that progress between the devices you sign in on.

• To read and reply to feedback you send us.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. Where Your Data Is Held

Tabbller stores accounts and progress using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC, which processes this data on our behalf as our service provider. Signing in with Google additionally involves Google as the identity provider, and signing in with Apple involves Apple Inc. in the same role. We share your information with no one else, except where we are required to disclose it by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority.

5. Data Security

Data travels to and from the app over encrypted connections, and access rules on our database restrict every record to the account that owns it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Tabbller is designed to be usable by children learning their tables, and it is built so that a child never has to hand over anything about themselves: the guest option needs no name, no email address and no sign-in. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 beyond that anonymous account. Where a child does sign in with an Apple or Google account, that account is expected to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information without consent, contact us at svntytoopixels@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights and Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time, without asking us. Inside the app, open your profile and tap the … menu at the top right. If you signed in with Apple or Google, tap “Delete all data”, check the account shown and confirm. Nothing has to be typed in and nobody has to be contacted. If you are playing as a guest, tap “Log Out” at the bottom of that panel — a guest account has nothing to sign back in with, so this deletes it outright, and the confirmation tells you so.

Deleting a Sign in with Apple account also revokes the token Apple issued us, so Tabbller stops appearing under Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple on your devices.

You can also delete a Google-linked account from this website without installing anything: use Delete user data in the menu, sign in, and confirm with your email address. Apple accounts are deleted from inside the app, or by writing to us.

Either way your quiz history, learning progress and account record are removed permanently, and it cannot be undone.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw consent, or ask for it to be transferred elsewhere. To exercise any of these, write to svntytoopixels@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will act on it within 30 days.

8. How Long We Keep It

Your account and progress are kept for as long as the account exists. When you delete the account, the record is removed immediately; backups holding it are cycled out within 30 days. Feedback messages are kept for up to two years so we can follow up on them.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review it periodically.
